Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Elton John will perform Oct. 6 at the Qwest Center Omaha, 455 N. 10th St.

Tickets, $97, $77 and $57, go on sale at 10 a.m. Monday at the box office, Ticketmaster outlets, www.ticketmaster.com and 422-1212. There is no presale.

In 2005, the singer’s Omaha concert and a show in St. Louis fell through because of a conflict with John’s schedule.

A five-time Grammy winner famed for his piano playing, John, 60, has a huge catalog of hits, including “Tiny Dancer,” “Your Song,” “Rocket Man,” “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road” and “Daniel,” among others.

October is shaping up to be a busy month of big events at the arena. In addition to John, the arena will host a sold-out “Hannah Montana” concert Oct. 23 and an Oct. 26 concert with Bob Dylan and Elvis Costello.
