Elton Earnt $12M Last Year, Tops List of RIAA April Gold/Platinum Certifications

Adele's album megasales aside, touring is once again the determining factor for the 40 genre-spanning acts that topped Billboard's ranking of music’s highest-paid musicians of the past year.

John's residency at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas doubled his 2014 touring revenue. Streaming of his recordings rose $83,100 from the prior year, while sales fell $225,100 during the same period.
