Elton's Speech at Watford
Elton John said that having a stand named after him at his beloved Vicarage Road was one of the greatest days of his life.
The former chairman of the Championship club and Honorary Life President spoke at the official ceremony which took place on the pitch today as the Hornets hosted Wigan at Vicarage Road.
"This is one of the greatest days of my life," he said today." I used to stand on the terraces, I never thought I'd have a stand named after me."
The legendary musician had two spells as owner of the club from 1976-87 and 1997-2002
