Rock Band Adds 3 Elton Tracks

Harmonix today announced that a three-pack of songs from Elton is headed to the Rock Band™ Music Store of downloadable content for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system and Wii™.


The Bitch is Back, from Elton’s 1974 album, Caribou, kicks off the pack. Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me, the first single from Caribou, will also be available. I’m Still Standing, from the 1983 album Too Low For Zero – which originally appeared as part of the soundtrack for Rock Band Blitz – will now be available as a single for the first time.

In the USA these songs will be available on Xbox 360, Wii and PlayStation®3 system from December 18, 2012. The tracks will be available in Europe on PlayStation®3 system from December 19.

Additionally, during the week of the release of Elton John Pack 01, Rock Band Blitz players will earn double Coins any time they play any of the three tracks from the pack.
