Elton Coming to Peterborough & Sarnia

Elton John will be performing in Peterborough for the first time, bringing his solo act to the Peterborough Memorial Centre this fall.

On Saturday, Sept. 8, the rock legend will perform his Greatest Hits Live concert, featuring number one chart hits and classic album tracks from his exceptional five-decade career.

Tickets go on sale Friday, May 25 at 10 a.m.

Tickets are $91.50 and $151.50 and will be available online at, at the Peterborough Memorial Centre box office or charge-by-phone at (705) 743-3561.

A service charge is added to each ticket. There is a six ticket limit per customer.

John will be bringing hits such as “Your Song”, “Rocket Man”, “Bennie and the Jets”, “Philadelphia Freedom”, “Crocodile Rock”, “Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me”, and more.

"We are delighted that a performer of the stature of Elton John will be performing in Peterborough,” Mayor Daryl Bennett said. “His concert will no doubt represent a cultural highlight of the year in our city.”


There is a Rocket Man on Sarnia's radar.

British pop superstar Elton John makes his first visit to Sarnia on Sept. 7 at 8 p.m., when he plays the RBC Centre.

The British star has sold more than 250 million records with such hits as Rocket Man, Candle in the Wind, Crocodile Rock and Benny and the Jets.
