Doesn't work. Too complicated. Richard Clayderman used to ruin/perform songs this way decades ago. Nice at a restaurant but otherwise cheesy.

The previous post strikes me as a little too harsh a reception for this young man's efforts. I agree that it's more gussied up than I would prefer - I'd recommend a more spare aesthetic - but the kid's trying, and bully for him.

This is all you have to do to make it on this site? I think this motivates me more than anything to start filming myself play. This guy, while talent, actually doesn't even play the right bass notes, thus compromising the whole chord. The decoration is beautiful but it shortchanges the chord transitions and is too distracting.

this man is brilliant, he does play this so well, if you can do a different version of anyones elses music this well, he excells, i hope elton likes it cos i DO very much.. GOOD ON HIM. madge

I think his version is very nice. It's just that, "his" version. This young man is very talented & should be commended for his efforts. I wonder if those people posting all the negative comments have half as much going for them!!
