The lyric theatre is a surprising venue for a superstar of Elton's calibre to perform at.
It holds 2000 people and is more like a plush cinema.

ELTON John loved his two weekend shows at Star, the Rocket Man telling casino boss Larry Mullin the Lyric venue was top international standard, as were the new restaurants the dad-of-one dined in.

Panama Confirmed

Elton will perform a concert in Panama City, Panama, at the Figalli Convention Center on February 4, 2012.


For the Panama City concert Elton will be joined onstage by his band, Davey Johnstone, Nigel Olsson, Bob Birch, John Mahon and Kim Bullard, as well as the 2CELLOS (Stjepan Hauser and Luka Sulic) and the four backing singers (Rose Stone, Lisa Stone, Tata Vega and Jean Witherspoon).

Public tickets for these concerts go on sale on Friday, November 11.

Peru Concert Confirmed

Elton and the band will return to South America in 2012 with a concert on Wednesday, February 1 at Estadio Nacional (The National Stadium), Lima, Peru.
