The Results Are In

Thank you so much to everyone who completed the Elton John Set List survey.

I understand how important Elton's set is to each of us and how special so many of his songs are. I believe that Elton attempts to please both the general public and ardent fans alike with his setlist. The classic staples must always be included along with a sprinkling of new and/or old tracks.

Since everyone seems to have their own individual opinion, I thought about getting some more statistical evidence to present to the people who have the ability to change the set.

I decided to only include songs Elton has performed live in the last 5 years (approximately) in the survey so that there would be a more realistic chance of him bringing some older ones back into the live set.

Given this, I wanted to see what his fans around the world would really love to see him perform live. The results were quite surprising.

201 people responded to the survey and here are your top 22 songs:

Harmony 48.30%
Funeral for a Friend/Love Lies Bleeding 45.80%
Captain Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy 44.80%
Rocket Man (I Think It's Going to Be a Long, Long Time) 44.30%
High Flying Bird 43.80%
Mona Lisas and Mad Hatters 41.30%
Your Song 39.80%
I Don't Wanna Go on with You Like That 39.30%
Someone Saved My Life Tonight 39.30%

These results will now be forwarded to Elton's representatives and hopefully he might get to see them and rethink his next set list change.

Thanks again for having your say!
