Elton John Coming to Malaysia
As part of the “Elton And Band” tour, the flamboyant Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee is set to entertain fans with a career-spanning concert at the 6,000-capacity venue in Genting.
After a five-decade long career, 250 million records sold and multiple Grammy awards, Elton's first visit to these shores is an anticipated one, especially with the veteran showman now engaged for three years in Las Vegas and is expected to slow down his long-haul tours.
Apart from his Singapore and Australian/New Zealand dates next month, the British performer has added the Malaysian concert as part of his “greatest hits tour” sche-dule.
There's no better opportunity than now to catch 64-year-old Elton live on stage with 1970s classics like Your Song, Saturday Night's Alright (For Fighting), Rocket Man, Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, Candle In The Wind, Tiny Dancer and Crocodile Rock, right to 1980s favourites I Guess That's Why They Call It The Blues, I'm Still Standing and Sad Songs (Say So Much) and many more featured in the list.
Show promoters Tune Live, organisers Fat Boys, local producer Scenique and regional promoter Live Limited have indicated Elton's upcoming show in Genting will be the full international version with all the concert trimmings and visual spectacle.
Tickets, ranging from RM380 to RM1,380, go on sale tomorrow via redtix.airasia.com.
