Bridge School Benefit Concert Coming to DVD

Anyone who has watched the annual lineups of the Neil Young Bridge School concerts knows that each year there have been some incredible performances that have kept the show a standout.

The concert series will be remembered in separate DVD and CD releases Oct. 24 that will feature legendary clips from throughout the benefit concert's history. Though some clips will be repeated on both formats, many will not, as you can see from the lineups.

Those on the DVD include Bruce Springsteen, Patti Smith, Pearl Jam, David Bowie, Bob Dylan, R.E.M., Bonnie Raitt, Billy Idol, Brian Wilson, the Pretenders, James Taylor, Simon and Garfunkel, Tom Petty, Dave Matthews, Paul McCartney, Elton John and Leon Russell, Metallica and the Who.

The CDs will feature No Doubt, Neil Young and Crazy House, Pearl Jam, Willie Nelson, Sheryl Crow, Tony Bennett, Crosby Stills Nash and Young and Jonathan Richman.

As a commenter noted on, the price for these is very reasonable for what you get. Two real real music lovers' bargains and worth getting.
