Australian Fan Drinks Coming to Sydney

To celebrate Elton's intimate concerts at Sydney's Lyric Theatre this November, we will be taking the concept of our fan drinks in Melbourne to Sydney.

It will be an informal opportunity for fans from around Australia and the world to meet and mingle before the show.

The event will begin at 4pm and will conclude at 6pm in order to allow us time to walk to the venue for a 7pm concert start. I am looking at booking the Hard Rock Cafe in Sydney's Darling Harbour (very close proximity to The Star Casino), however I need numbers of people interested in attending so that I can work out if we should book a table or if it can be casual drinks at the bar.

So if you are interested in attending please send a quick email to eltonjohnnews.blogspot.com@gmail.com with how many people will be attending and if you would prefer the Saturday November 26th and/or Sunday November 27th.

Alternatively, you can RSVP on the Elton John-News Facebook page under events.

Next Saturday (October 1), I will finalise the numbers and confirm the date(s) and in what format the event will take place and you will receive either email notification or information on the blog confirming these details.

I look forward to meeting you and I hope you can mingle with other fellow Elton fan's in a casual environment before the exciting first show!

MELBOURNE UPDATE: I have found a venue for our fan drinks which is in close proximity to Rod Laver Arena. I am finalising numbers and the event style now, so if you are interested in attending on December 6 - please RSVP via eltonjohnnews.blogspot.com@gmail.com or via Facebook before October 1 to be included.

If you would prefer or would like a second Melbourne event on December 7th please let me know too as I am happy to book that date in too if demand requests it.

BRISBANE/ HUNTER VALLEY/ ADELAIDE/ PERTH: I am not currently arranging any specific events in these areas, however I will be happy to meet at the concert venue for drinks before the show - so let me know if you have any ideas.
