Camden NJ Concert Cancelled

Elton John's September 16, 2011 show at Susquehanna Bank Center in Camden, NJ — tickets for which just went on sale on June 17, 2011 — has already been canceled, promoters Live Nation just announced.

Refunds on the tickets, which cost $105 to $170, will be available at point of purchase starting June 22, 2011, the announcement said. There was about 2,000 tickets left for the 25,000-capacity venue. There was no immediate word on reason for the cancelation.

Elton last played the area in April 2011, when he did a sold-out show at Mohegan Sun Arena in Wilkes-Barre Township.

This is too bad. I have seen Elton in all arena and stadiums in the area over the past 30 years. This would have been a new one for me. All this and I had great seats to. I would like to know why it was cancelled. This is not like Elton to cancel a concert.
