Elton & Leon Want You to Make Their Music Video

Ever wanted to make a music video? Elton John and Leon Russell, along with their record label, Decca, are partnering with music video site Vevo for the site's first-ever "Make Your Own Music Video" contest. Participants are encouraged to submit their own videos created for John and Russell's single "Hey Ahab," from their much-lauded album The Union. The contest will be promoted across Vevo and its YouTube channels with a personally recorded message by John himself about the contest.

Fans can use assets provided by Vevo and Decca when making their submission, such as a live performance of "Hey Ahab" filmed at New York City's Beacon Theater and the CD launch concert which was broadcast on Fuse. They can also pick from high-resolution photos and the full audio track. Submissions much be entered by May 1, when John and Russell will personally choose the winner.
