Elton John has been recorded verbally abusing a female photographer in public.
TMZ has posted footage of the singer leaving a Hollywood bookstore on Friday, during which he clearly tells an unknown individual: "F**k off you horrible c***."
The video goes on to show the website staff's horrified reaction to the incident, which according to a reporter at the scene appeared to be unprovoked.
They said: "She gave him space, he had plenty of room, she was very kind. You can hear it in her voice."
It is not known whether the photographer had done anything to infuriate John before his entrance into the shop, or whether the pair have clashed in the past.
