Elton Performing at Isle of Man

Another date has been added to Elton's 2011 tour in the United Kingdom. He will bring his solo show to the Isle of Man for one special night next summer, the first time he has performed on the island. The concert will take place on Thursday, June 16, 2011, in the impressive Valhalla Tent in the beautiful setting of Nobles Park. The seated and standing concert will give 8,500 lucky Manx the opportunity to see Elton perform live.

Elton commented: "Every year I play concerts all over the world, often in the most extraordinary and exotic places. I never tire of playing, and coming home to play in England in the summer is always a special joy. I have never played in The Isle of Man before, so I'm looking forward to the concert on June 16. The summer audiences always come prepared to enjoy themselves, so be ready to be up on your feet, dancing and singing. Those fans who have been with me since the early days might remember that I recorded a song called Val-hala in 1969 on the Empty Sky album - so that must be a good omen. See you in June!"

Tickets for this show will go on public sale on Thursday November 18 at 9am and can be bought via the following hotline numbers: 0844 481 5816, 0844 209 7366, 0844 845 2540 or online at www.ticketsoup.comwww.ticketmaster.co.uk or www.seetickets.com.
