The US singer and actress will feature alongside Sir Elton John and Celine Dion to perform hits and give advice to the hopefuls, according to reports in The Sun.
TV bosses are also in final talks with Kylie Minogue to be another 'themed week' superstar.
Sister Dannii has revealed how she was keen to get Kylie involved in The X Factor after becoming a judge on the ITV1 series.
Dannii said: "My family are a big part in everything I do and this is a big part of my life."
X Factor boss Simon Cowell is thought to have lined up nine big names to appear on each of the upcoming live shows.
Leona Lewis, last year's winner, is also set to appear with other possible guests including Westlife and comeback kings Take That, who performed at last year's grand finale.
