Michael Chugg today confirmed that following conversations with Sir Elton’s management, a second show for Werribee Park Mansion would go ahead on Sunday 16 December. The decision comes due to overwhelming demand from local fans who missed out on tickets to the first Werribee Park Mansion show. Tickets for the second show go on-sale at 9am, Tuesday 4th September through Ticketek. Chugg expects they will be over the moon at the news, just like the Rocket Man himself.
It’s been an exceptional roll-out for the Elton John tour. It began with just 5 shows across Australia, then a second show was announced for Tempus Two in the Hunter Valley just an hour after the first sold out. Then came passionate cries from Northern Queensland and Tasmania wanting their chance to see Elton John play in their town. Their voices were heard and the shows were added in to the growing itinerary. Now, with the addition of the second show for Victoria, the total number of shows for the Rocket Man Solo Tour is up to nine!
These solo concerts, coined “A Knight Under the Stars” will be a magical way to experience and enjoy the brilliance of Elton John’s music. On stage, just Elton John and a piano, audiences will be able to experience the breadth of his composing talent, listening to hit song after hit song from 35 years at the top of the charts.
